Tomatoes are to be sliced up and placed on the face wherever required. The vitamin A and antioxidant found in tomatoes will help slowing down the production of sebum thus giving you a clean, fresh face.
Olive Oil for Removing Acne Scars
Olive oil is a natural moisturizer and it can be used to soften the skin texture after the occurrence of acne scars. It reduces visibility of the scars and gives your skin a soft look.
Honey Remedy for Acne Scars
Honey is another important factor that can be used as a mask or mixed with lemon juice to give soft, clean and clear skin for acne scar treatment.
Though these products can be used individually they can also be used together in various mixtures. For example this paste, made from a variety of things can help treat severe acne cars. 1 tablespoon of sour cream, 1 tablespoon of yogurt, 1 tablespoon of oatmeal and lemon juice. Make a paste, dab it onto the acne scar and leave it on for 15 minutes. Finally rinse off carefully with water. You can even mix tomato and cucumber to make a face mask and the combined affect of the two can reduce the visibility of acne scars. It tightens the pores of the skin and gives it a nice, even texture.
